STMicroelectronics France announces the winners of the 1st edition of its “Sustainability Challenge”; among the 10 finalists, the 3 winning start-ups of the competition are: Cixi, Fractal Energy and Usense.

Last September, STMicroelectronics France launched the first edition of the “ST for Startups – Sustainability Challenge France” competition in order to mobilize the start-up ecosystem around “the challenges of tomorrow” by putting technology and innovation at the service of development. sustainable. In November, at the end of the pre-selection phase by the jury made up of 20 experts from the Group, 10 finalists were selected: Fractal energy, Inocel, InSitu Systems, Brad Technology, Kumulus Water, Mooring solution, Sylviacare, CIXI, Usense and Zoe care.

For the final selection, the 10 startups presented their projects today to the members of the jury, including Mr. Laurent Bataille, President of Schneider Electric France as guest of honor, Ms. Frédérique Le Grevès, President of STMicroelectronics France, Mr. Alessandro Crémonesi, Executive Vice-President, Chief Innovation Officer and Mr. Jean-Louis Champseix, Group Vice-President, Director of Sustainable Development. At the end of a deliberation, the jury announced the 3 winners who cover in particular the areas of energy management, carbon-free mobility, health and well-being.
