Fractal Energy is a French software and energy engineering company founded in 2021. We fund the battery, so our customers put in nothing and start earning from day one.
What decided us: the grid blocks before the projects do.
What was missing was less another supplier than an operator able to make an asset work. So we wrote our own EMS, which decides on site every 5 seconds, and built a VPP that pools those sites against the market.
Our model is 100% OPEX: we carry the asset, the risk and the operations. The client provides the site and shares the gains.
Four rules we do not bend
Safety before yield
We only install systems whose fire tests are documented, fitted by installers we have qualified, and monitored continuously.
Verifiable impact
We only shift a kWh if it avoids something concrete: a peak, a curtailed solar hour, a grid reinforcement.

A forecasting model per site, a decision every 5 seconds, on a technical chain built to resist intrusion.
The minimum of data
We collect only what dispatch needs, encrypt it end to end, and apply the GDPR to the letter.
